Why Do We Do This?
When investing in your future there is one single decision that’s essential- who you work with.
We are passionate about being your advisor, a fiduciary, and treating you with the respect you deserve. Our focus is to provide the very best advice, service and products in the industry. Not just because we are legally obligated to, but because you deserve it.
We believe in the Golden Rule!
Who Are We?
Brian has been been in this industry for over 35 years. Having spent many years providing service as a financial representative and manager. he was recruited to ‘corporate’ and spent years as a business leader ‘behind the curtain’ getting a unique perspective on how financial advice is delivered nation wide. He developed firm opinions on just how outdated some systems are and uses these thoughts to provide high quality advise and service to the mass affluent, not just the very affluent.
Mr. Grigg formed Grigg Financial with a philosophy so simple that we all learn it in school: Treat others the way you want to be treated.
It seems simple and it is. Our focus is helping people.
Grigg Financial also believes in “all the time” education for advisors, especially within the complex financial advice based world. For example, Mr. Grigg has attained certification standards of excellence, including Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) and several others. He also have an MBA from the University of MA and a BA from Merrimack College.
What Do We Do?
Being financially successful involves many decisions over your life, perhaps even thousands. Every decision counts.
Our process starts with getting to know you, your goals and values. It leads to what we call a “living plan”, one that needs updating over time. We help with your investment management approach, retirement planning, planning your estate, financial product purchases, buying a home, managing debt, saving for an important purchase, college planning for your kids, buying or selling a business, looking for tax strategies, etc.
Many times we provide these services as part of our investment management services. Our first meeting is free of charge and is meant to help you discover what we can do for you. Our business is built first on a relationship of trust.

Our Mission
We want to be the firm that answers this question “Who Can You Trust to Help with your Money?”
Many people struggle with how to qualify a financial advisor. For example, likeability is important, however, it doesn’t qualify an advisor. We believe you want to work with a firm that is experienced, knowledgeable and independent. We believe you want to work with a firm that works for you, in your best interest.
This is how we build trust with you. And, we think we’re pretty likable too.

Our Process
Breathe and Relax. We start with an initial meeting designed to get to know you, your goals, and your values. We also know you’re getting to know us and are deciding if you want to work with us. Clients make the choice to work with us. We only try to demonstrate how you may benefit from working with Grigg Financial.
We develop living plans for most clients. We use your goals and resources and evaluate them under conservative assumptions to answer this: “Do I have the resources to do this?” For many, this is about retirement, however, it can also be about other specific or general wealth management goals.
We customize investment management programs for our clients. There are no cookie cutter solutions. Our approaches are based on you.
We revisit, revise and refine plans and do it all over again and again, year after year.
We believe meeting with your financial professional should be positive and exciting.

Being a Fiduciary
We are fiduciaries. Many financial professionals are not. A fiduciary is required to work in the best interest of the client. This involves a significant effort in looking at all the options, comparing and contrasting, and advising a best course of action. We are not investment product sales people. We do not make commissions on investment advice.
Our business does better when you do better.
We often encounter people looking for an advisor for the first time, perhaps after 20, 30 or more years of accumulating savings in a 401k or 403b. Realizing they want help with making their money last as long as they do, they seek out an advisor. We ask this: “With your life savings, if you have a choice between an financial representative who is paid commissions or an advisor who is paid for advice, who do you want?” We believe the answer is obvious.
Fiercely Independent
We work for you. We are not obligated due to contract or incentives to any vendor, financial or supporting firm. This is on purpose. It’s who we are.
We believe the retail financial world is fraught with conflict. Commissions and special incentives designed to influence recommendations reduces the effectiveness of the products and services offered to you. We are committed to our advice being fiercely obligated to our clients.
